Unveiling of the Go for West-African GM Website

In the effort to keep The Go for a West-African Grandmaster project alive and growing we have done a complete redesign of our website such that any potential sponsor will be proud to associate with us🙂.

To launch the website open for general consumption, we have put together an online chess tournament with monetary prizes.

There will be two different tournaments, one for Nigerians and the other for other West-African countries.

The Nigerian launch tourney will happen on Monday 5th, April 2021 by 7pm.

Improve your chess - 3

Improve your chess

European chess Union and European Chess Academy organise the third volume of the Lectures program “Improve Your Chess” with leading Chess Trainers worldwide from 22nd of February to 25th of March 2021. 

The lectures will be twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, from 5pm – 7pm CET. 

You can select your preferred lecturers/dates. 

  • 5 lecturers (entry fee 50 €),
  • 6 lecturers (entry fee 60 €),
  • 7 lecturers (entry fee 70 €),
  • 10 lecturers (entry fee 90 €)

We are offering special discounts for clubs and federations:

  • Option 3+1 (register three and get one free of charge) *
  • Option 5+2 (register five and get two free of charge) *

*this option is possible only if you register players for all lectures.

The lectures are open for all but recommended for players over 1500 rating.
